Chef Owner Manuel Hiraldo found inspiration for Don Nicola Pizzeria in his native home of Argentina. Nicola Flauto migrated from Italy after the Second World War to the small town of San Nicolás, Argentina, 200 miles north of Buenos Aires. Don Nicola was an expert chef who mastered his art in Naples. For reasons unknown, he never opened a restaurant. Instead he reserved his skills for special occasions with friends and family and was famous for his panettones and pizzas. The first time Chef Hiraldo tried his pizza, he realized what pizza should actually be. His devotion to the perfection of pizza is the inspiration behind Don Nicola’s pizzeria. Located by the marina, guests can enjoy a beautiful waterfront view while dining.
