This documentary tells the story of an environmental journey!
In July 2014, the Greek non-profit organisation "Green Project", departed on a unique 17,135 km journey, from Bogota in Colombia to the Land of Fire in Argentina.
A team of 15 volunteers, scientists and artists, crossed 8 countries, in 52 days, in an effort to explore the environmental and cultural diversity of South America.
From the massive environmental disaster caused by the oil company Chevron in the remote Ecuadorian Amazon, to the innovative use of photo-voltaic panels to produce electricity in Lake Titicaca, Peru.
From the alarming over-exploitation of the Potosi mines in Bolivia, to the breathtaking richness of flora and fauna in Pantanal, Brazil, the largest wetland on earth.
From the melting glaciers of Patagonia in Argentina and Chile, to the vibrant colonies of sea lions and cormorants in Ushuaia in the Land of Fire.
Ending up at the southernmost edge of the American continent, where the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans meet.
The journey has been proclaimed as "One Success Story 2014" by the Hellenic National Commission for UNESCO, which has put it under its auspices.
