Experience the first buds of spring in a whole new way!! Join us for a unique journey around our 73 acre tree farm as we learn about the life cyle of trees/plants and rocks/minerals, all while centering around the creation of the world (Genesis 1, English Standard Version).

The tour begins with a guided hayride around the farm as we discuss the life cyle of our trees and other plants as well as our tree planting process. We will also make a quick stop to our barnyard to meet our farm babies. Then we experience the earth's soil in it's truest form...with our bare hands!! Each student will plant a tree in one of our fields while successfully applying all steps of the planting process. Make sure to mark your tree/tree flag so that you can check it's progress each time you come out to Piney!!

Next, we head on over to our popular Gem Mine where students will learn all about rock, mineral and fossil formation through a fascinating hands-on experience. Learn about each gem and fossil as it is found while panning for treasure!! All gems and fossils found will go home with your child, along with a identification card.

To wrap up the guided part of the tour, we will have a popcorn snack as we listen to and discuss Genesis 1: The Creation of the World. Students will have a "round table talk" in the barn as they identify and relate different aspects of the farm to some of God's first creations. During this time, they will also be able to meet and hold some of our newest chick arrivals.

*You are welcome to bring a sack lunch and play in our Exploration Area once the guided portion of the tour is over. Please note that lunch and free play is to be done on your own time (either before or after your scheduled tour and not to interfere with additional tours)*

Price is $9/student, $5/adult, toddlers/infants free. Rain dates will be May 9th and 11th (same times). REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
