In a fast-paced and changing world there is a need to both engage and network with like-minded professionals in a manner that is real, focused and valuable. We are launching a series of high impact power-hour sessions that will focus on an interesting topic or discipline and will engage and bring together thought leaders. Our inaugural session will be facilitated by SIOPSA Johannesburg Chapter in conjunction with the NeuroLeadership Institute. The latter is a global research-driven leadership institute that focuses on applied neuroscience in the business context with an aim to transform leadership through neuroscience. Headquartered in New York City, their South African branch will host its first event on 05th April 2018 at 25 Rudd Road, Illovo. The focus will be on applied neuroscience in the leadership context and what this means for Industrial Psychologists and related professionals in various sectors who are actively facilitating positive individual and/or organisational behaviour change and high-performance culture which has become the holy grail of most organisation in the VUCA world / 21st century.

The event will be facilitated by Rob Jardine, Head of Research & Solutions, who hold a Masters from the University of Valencia (Spain) and the University of Johannesburg in Organisational Psychology. He is a brain-based coach and used to work for the Adidas Group in Germany as a performance management change specialist before deciding to lead the research and solutions practice at NeuroLeadership Institute South Africa. Recently his opinion on artificial intelligence and neuroscience has been featured on SABC news, Moneyweb, SAFM, Business Report and the Sunday Times.
This event is limited to a maximum of 25 participants. Please register a seat to ensure that you reserve your place (info@siopsa.org.za).

This is a first in a series of events facilitated by the Johannesburg SIOPSA chapter that aims to engage and network professionals in an impactful way.
