Celebrating the centennial of American composer Leonard Bernstein (1918–1990), the San Juan Symphony and 3rd Ave. Arts are teaming up for a unique Concert & Lecture surveying Bernstein’s life and works.

Dr. Thomas Heuser, music director of the San Juan Symphony, will expand his usual pre-concert lecture series called “Musically Speaking” to include live performances by a diverse array of local musical talent. Participating musicians include Rochelle Mann, Gemma Kavanagh, Kerry Ginger, Erik Gustafson, Linda Mack Berven, Mika Inouye, and the Durango Chamber Singers under the direction of Elizabeth Crawford.
