INTRODUCTION TO AIR CONDITIONING
This class is for basic theory and good practices of the installation and service of residential and commercial A/C systems.
Class 1: Introduction, safety, handling of refrigerants, hazards associated with servicing and installing of A/C systems.
Class 2: The theory of the refrigeration cycle, components of the system and operation. Examples: compressors, condensers, thermostatic expansion valves and type of valves.
Class 3: Installation of system components, pressure testing, evacuation and charging.
Class 4: Electrical requirements, start-up and manufacturer's
Class 5: Summary and review of classes.
