I've been listening to Eric Bachmann in some form or another for over 20 years. First, as the frontman for indie rock heroes Archers of Loaf, then recording on Merge Records under the moniker Crooked Fingers. More recently he has released solo albums under his given name, and everything he touches is musical gold.
His recent albums steer in the "Tom Waits lyrics meets hardened Neil Diamond vocals" but that sells him way short. He's a gifted lyricist and has also contributed to albums from Azure Ray, Spoon, Damien Jurado and others. Most recently he was a touring part of Neko Case's band.
Needless to say I'm thrilled to be hosting the Reno stop on his West Coast tour. Tickets for the show are $25 and can be purchased from our friends at Undertow Music (purchase link below)
Space is limited to 35 spots, and based on the recent turnout for the Station shows it would be advisable to grab tx ASAP if you want to to see Eric's career spanning set.
Thank you so much for supporting these shows, Reno continues to make its mark in the music scene and y'all are to thank for that.
