This is a fun and educational tour loved by children and adults alike. It’s full of epic views, crawling in caves, spectacular scenery and lots of sites from the Tanach and Jewish history.
Manoach’s Altar – See a 3,000 year old stone altar from the time of the Shoftim which is in the location where the Tanach says Shimshon’s parents Manoach and his wife saw the angel ascend to the sky. It may be the very Altar mentioned in the Story in Tanach.
Ancient Tzorah – The city where Shimshon was born.
Tel Beit Shemesh – Crawl in ancient Jewish tombs from the time of the Shoftim (they are now empty). See the site where the ark was returned by the Plishtim. Enter an underground water system from 3,000 years ago with flashlights.
Several Lunch Options at a Kosher Food Court in the Big Fashion Mall in Beit Shemesh
Tel Azeka – Climb the hill of ancient Azeka for an epic view of the battlefield of David and Goliath. Make your own sling just like the one David used to fight Goliath.
