Tina Giarla, a rising young professional, and Kathryn McKinnon, business coach, will be the featured guest speakers for the next session of "Women: Finding Your Voice," the new series of interactive programs to help women find their own voice, to be held at Abbot Public Library in the Reading Room on Wednesday, April 18th, at 7:00 pm.

The program will focus on women speaking confidently in business and the workplace and will include lessons learned, and advice and tips for effectively presenting ideas in a workplace setting. Speech and Voice Professional Betty Lautner will offer ideas on how to speak with conviction. Judy Gates will provide a vignette of a business woman in history, and businessman John Archer will present comments from a pro-feminist man.

This series is open to women and men, high school students through senior citizens.

In future programs, experts in their fields will help women learn how to claim their voice in the home, in the community, how to speak with authority, and how to overcome shyness or fear and much more. Suggestions for future programs and speakers will be welcome.

The series is presented by "3 Voices" and is co-sponsored by The Marblehead League of Women Voters and Abbot Public Library. Each session is free and open to the public. Refreshments and conversation will follow the program.
