Come and enjoy an entertaining presentation by Donald A. Doliber, the Marblehead Town Historian. This one-hundred-and-forty-year celebration of the dedication of the Marblehead Librarians, Trustees, and its volunteer staff will honor the many who have met and greeted the public over those years. Listen to the interesting stories about the people who have served the town and have educated the public. You will appreciate their commitment, to maintain this quality institution of learning and research. You will watch as programs to serve all the public developed into rich and informative opportunities.
Don Doliber is a well-known and entertaining public speaker. He holds a master's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. During his career as a teacher of History, and subsequently as an Assistant Principal, he was recognized as the "Outstanding American History Teacher in the United States" by the National Daughters of the American Revolution. He was later presented with the "George Washington Medal for Excellence in Education" by the Freedom Foundation of Valley Forge. The Massachusetts Secondary School Administrators Association named him as the "2006 Massachusetts Assistant Principal of the Year." He was appointed Marblehead Town Historian in 2015.
