ABOUT THE MONSTER ENERGY UP & UP FESTIVAL:
An innovative, on-demand concept where major U.S. colleges compete to win and produce their own music festival featuring a national headlining artist. Debuting in 2016 with two regional festivals featuring Cash Cash, and it doubled to 4 winning schools in 2017 with Alan Walker, resulting in over 5,000 preorders in 48 hours without even a date or location. The Up & Up Festival team mentors and provides the necessary resources for the students—empowering them with a true sense of ownership and fostering community at each event. They’re also a proud member of the National Association of Campus Activities organization. Four of their previous winning student ambassadors are interning out of their LA-based company this semester. Their tagline says, STUDENT WON, STUDENT-RUN.
He scored huge on the Up & Up Festival’s annual student survey about which artist colleges wanted to compete for. Gryffin sold out many dates on his 34 city headlining tour last fall and blew away people with unforgettable performances in previous years at Coachella, Lollapalooza & Snow Globe. GRYFFIN has produced chart-topping music including his debut single “Heading Home” ft. Josef Salvat which grabbed the #1 spot on Spotify’s US and Global Viral charts, hit song “Feel Good” featuring the vocal talents of Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter Daya, and GRYFFIN’s latest track “Nobody Compares To You” featuring Katie Pearlman which has racked up over 24 million plays on Spotify alone.
