Come and explore the secrets and wonders of plants in the Adelaide Botanic Gardens through a guided tour🌱
Please meet at the Schomburgk Pavilion in The Botanic Gardens, North Terrace.
There will be two sessions available
Session one: 11am - 12pm
We will have to think like a scientist and investigate plant adaptations through two environments: the desert and the rainforest. We will record observations and make hypotheses on plants and how they have adapted to these diverse environments.
Session two: 1pm - 2pm
We will step back in time and discover the plants used by Aboriginals for food, tools, hunting, medical purposes and ceremonies.
