Join ANZCA, the ASA and NZSA in Adelaide on October 5 and 6 for the 2018 Cardiac Thoracic Vascular and Perfusion special interest group (SIG) ECHO meeting. This meeting is being held as a satellite meeting to the 77th Australian Society of Anaesthetists’ National Scientific Congress (ASA NSC) at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
This meeting is designed to celebrate echocardiography and will appeal to both the cardiac anaesthetist as well as other anaesthetic specialties who will be attending the ASA NSC.
The first day is designed to engage the audience with presentations from experts in echocardiography, covering topics such as haemodynamic instability, mechanical circulatory support, intraoperative assessment of valve disease, and two heavy weight academics will fight it out in a debate on diastology. The program is designed to stimulate audience participation and culminates in a wine tasting prior to an echocardiography quiz.
