Colin Muller, Muller Ranch LLC
A third generation farmer, Colin and the Muller Family have farmed in Yolo County since 1967. Today, Muller Ranch grows over a dozen crops annually including tomatoes, peppers, sunflowers, garlic, millet, wine grapes, and more.
Israel Herrera, Russell Ranch Sustainable Agriculture Facility at UC Davis
Israel has worked at Russell Ranch, a program of the UC Davis Agricultural Sustainability Institute, for more than two decades and oversees day-to-day operations and research.
Tony Turkovich, Button and Turkovich Ranch
Tony has been a sustainable farmer in Yolo County for over 35 years. Tony manages the Turkovich Ranch's farming operation, which produces crops such as tomatoes, alfalfa, sunflowers, prunes and oranges.
Kate Scow, Russell Ranch & Scow Soil Microbial Ecology Lab
Kate works as both Director of the Russell Ranch facility and as the Principal Investigator in the Scow Lab at UC Davis. Her work focuses on the role of soil microbial communities in providing services in agricultural and polluted ecosystems.
