Throughout this informative workshop, Jessica Jayne will provide various exercises and meditation practices to find your center. What she often refers to as the 'center of gravity' in her classes, the Bandhas are a part of yoga's timeless wisdom that can help us to better connect with our bodies and ultimately, ourSelves.
Bandha in Sanskrit is translated into 'lock' or 'bond' and is often referred to as energetic locks in the physical practice. Connecting with the Bandhas not only helps us in Asana, but also in meditation, and in everyday life.

About Jessica Jayne:
Jessica Jayne illuminates love. Above all, she is a humble seeker of truth, and is known for weaving her devotion and joyous vibration into her words, work, and movement practices. Jess originally came to yoga in an attempt to escape reality, however what she discovered was a deeply profound gift- a gift from the Beloved- that lead her down a revolutionary journey into her heart. Inspired by the freedom that she found through her practice, she began teaching yoga in December of 2015. As a teacher she enjoys sharing movement practices centered around leading from the heart, guiding students through sequences that are about embodying the practice rather than attaching to shapes; encouraging exploration, devotion, and a deep sense of body and heartfelt awareness. Yoga is not about the physical shapes our bodies are capable of creating, but more-so an opportunity to meet ourselves inside of them, and she believes we all have the ability to experience true freedom through devotional practice, exploration, and spiritual awareness, and her teachings are based around this concept.
