NOLA Aikido is very pleased to welcome Seishiro Endo Shihan, 8th Dan Aikikai Hombu Dojo and dojo-cho of Aikido Saku Dojo in Nagano, Japan, to New Orleans for a weekend seminar, November 2-4, 2018. Endo Shihan began studying Aikido under O Sensei, Morihei Ueshiba, at Hombu Dojo in 1967 as one of his last uchi deshi. Endo Shihan is well known for his gentle and dynamic, yet powerful Aikido. His Aikido has less focus on learning a large number of techniques and more of an emphasis on how to connect to your partner. Endo Shihan's teaching looks at the use of energy and relaxation of the body, flexible movement and calmness of the mind at all times.
