WANDERLUST

(n.) A strong desire or urge to wander or travel and explore the world.

The Bali NewEarth Haven was built as a gathering place, a beacon of art beauty and consciousness attracting all the wanderers to come together and meet, creating a combustion hub of creativity, inspiration and innovation fueled by the magic of synergy and collaboration.

From this vision we birth Wanderlust a Musical Gathering, a gathering place for those passing through, as well as those returning home to the Haven after their travels.

We'll have a full line-up of super talented traveling live musicians, here to co-create this magical evening with us.

Starting at sunset we'll gather around the fire and enjoy magical live concert performances by Sandrayati Fay and many others.

After the live performances in the beautiful space of the Akasha restaurant venue, we invite everyone to go over to the stunning Villa Akasha venue for the opportunity to join us for an Ecstatic Dance. We're creating a safe space for everyone to dive deep into an ecstatic experience.

(born Sandrayati Royo Fay in March 1994) is singer-songwriter who divides her time between North America and Indonesia. Born an island girl, she has lived on Java, in Indonesia, Mindanao, in the Philippines and Bali, with her songwriting and performance style deeply influenced by an amalgam of these natural and cultural settings. After studying theater at Emerson College in Boston and music at the Berklee, she traveled the United States, performing from Boston to Texas, before returning to Indonesia in 2015 to work with many her favorite collaborators. She has performed with some of Indonesia's most accomplished musicians including Iwan Fals, Sawung Jabo, Superman is Dead and Slank. She currently collaborates regularly with one of Indonesia’s top Indie bands, Nosstress. She has also worked with Nakho, of Nakho and Medicine for the People, lending her voice to his 2017 solo album.

Drawing on her Filipino and American/Irish heritage and combining it with her rootedness in the Indonesian and Philippine archipelagoes, Sandrayati brings a unique cultural mix of expression to her audiences, writing and performing in several languages. Critics have singled her out for "the sincerity and transcendent quality of her powerful and close to angelic voice”.

Her songs explore themes of identity, love, human and environmental rights. Performing with honesty and intention, Sandrayati is known to immerse her audience in a journey that is both healing and empowering– leaving time standing still and hearts hanging by a thread. Just as the Moon sways the tide, Sandrayati sways her audience with her repertoire of sound.

In 2017, Sandrayati released her first EP “Bahasa Hati” (the Language of the Heart), storytelling through song and poetry. It features Fendy Rizk, Algimiro (Cellomano), Gardika Gigih, and Afiriana Dewi.

She performs regularly across Indonesia and at International festivals.
