Monteverdi’s L’Orfeo of 1607 is considered the first great opera. Apollo's Fire: The Cleveland Baroque Orchestra gears up for upcoming performances of this masterpiece with a presentation of scenes, highlights, and discussion. Lead singers, including Karim Sulayman (Orfeo) and Erica Schuller (Euridice), are joined by Artistic Director Jeannette Sorrell for this lively 45-minute performance followed by Q&A.
