The Real Meaning of Buddhist Tantra

#var:page_name# cover

The teachings of Buddha explained in the common paths do not fully explain the attainment of enlightenment. In order to understand how we can become a Buddha, we must study and then practice the paths of the Vajrayana, or Tantra. Kadampa Buddhism, following the lineage of Lama Je Tsongkhapa, includes all of the essential teachings of the stages of the path, both Sutra (common) and Tantra (uncommon). The tantric path is described perfectly and exquisitely in our Kadampa texts, and the spiritual programs of Kadampa Centres offer the initiations, teachings and practices necessary to accomplish the supreme state of enlightenment in this very lifetime.

In this class, Gen Kelsang Dema, herself a tantric practitioner for nearly twenty years, will introduce the meaning of the tantric practices and explain how we can enter and make progress on the Quick Path to liberation and enlightenment.

Don’t miss this meaningful opportunity and encouragement!
