“You’re killin’ me, Smalls!”
Summertime is almost upon us, which means longer days, warm nights, barbecues, and most important of all: baseball. We're getting a jump on the summer season and celebrating America's favorite pastime the best way possible, with director David Mickey Evans' love letter to the game, THE SANDLOT — which also just so happens to be turning 25 this year. At these special anniversary shows, you can order yourself up a cold beer and a juicy hot dog from our special menu and even score yourself keepsake baseball hat to wear out on the field, slugger. (Just add it on to your ticket purchase at checkout.)
Smalls is a new kid in the neighborhood, and while looking for a place to fit in he hooks up with the local sandlot baseball team, who are themselves looking for a 9th player. The only problem is, Smalls doesn't know how to play ball. What follows is a heartwarming and hilarious coming of age story featuring a terrifying neighborhood monstrosity known as "The Beast," irresponsible treatment of priceless memorabilia and, of course, the valuable life lesson that things on the surface are not always as they seem.
