#var:page_name# cover

People of all faiths or philosophies are invited to honor the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., on the 50th anniversary of his assassination and to hear interfaith speakers carry his prophetic message forward. There will be three main speakers at this free event: Rev. Dr. John Walton, Jr., pastor of the oldest African American Baptist congregation in Milwaukee (Calvary Baptist Church) and immediate past chair of the Interfaith Conference board; Rabbi Noah Chertkoff from Congregation Shalom, a former member of the Interfaith Conference board; and Imam Yaseen from the Milwaukee Islamic Dawah Center. The event is being organized by All Saints' Cathedral in partnership with the Interfaith Conference of Greater Milwaukee.
