"'Come Sunday' is based on an adaptation of one of the most difficult, challenging, and unexpected phases and stages of my ministry life and spiritual growth," Rev. Carlton D. Pearson said. "I have expanded even beyond what is portrayed in the film and will continue to expand and evolve as long as I live."

From director Joshua Marston, "Come Sunday" stars Academy Award-nominee Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lakeith Stanfield, Jason Segel, Condola Rashad, and Martin Sheen. It's the moving story of Bishop Carlton Pearson's personal journey from leading a religious congregation to being labeled a heretic.
