All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church is pleased to announce their Annual Gala and Silent Auction will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 6 to 10 p.m.
The church’s largest fundraiser of the year will be held at the church, 9449 Ellerbe Road. Live music will be provided by Jim Huckabay and Sandra Odom. Exceptional items will be auctioned off in both live and silent auctions and include gift certificates, art, event tickets, and much more.
The theme for this year’s event is “Buy Buy Birdie,” inspired by the beloved 1963 musical. Attendees are encouraged to dress to impress – poodle skirts, saddle shoes, cardigan sweaters, and wingtip shoes.
Tickets for the event are $25 in advance and $35 at the door and are available for purchase Sunday mornings before and after the 11 a.m. church service or by calling the church office at (318) 868-3313. Raffle tickets are available for $1. Raffle tickets include a free Strawn’s pie, potted plants from Lex’s Plant Farm and Akin’s Nursery, and more.
