#var:page_name# cover

Bishop Julius C. Trimble and the Extended Cabinet of the Indiana Conference of The United Methodist Church will will join other interfaith leaders, pastors and laity and justice leaders from across the nation on April 4 for the march in Washington D.C.

We understand you may not be able to march in Washington D.C., but Pastor Russ and Saint Joseph UMC, as well members of the community, will hold a prayer walk and vigil at the Fort Wayne Courthouse on April 4th at noon. This prayer walk and vigil will last an hour and is open to the public as we seek to join the UMC church in this "A.C.T Now" event. To A.C.T. is to take the opportunity to AWAKEN oneself to the truth that racism is ever-present; CONFRONT racism, speak truth to power, and stand up against injustice; and TRANSFORM the hearts, minds, and behaviors of people and institutions.
