American trumpeter and current JazzFest artist-in-residence Terence Blanchard will perform his Jazz in Film project alongside the Spirit of the Groove Big Band led by Dominick Farinacci. The project is a portrait of jazz in cinema history and features highly influential themes from classics like Anatomy of a Murder, Taxi Driver and The Man with the Golden Arm.

She wrote her first song at 7 years old, recorded her first CD at 12, orchestrated and performed her original composition with the Boston Pops Orchestra at 14, and performed at President Obama’s Inauguration at 16. She has quite an impressive resume at such a young age.
