ALTdot in the Press:
"Where can fans of spaced-out, off-the-wall, over-the-edge, even grotesque antics get to witness Scott Thompson, or the trio of Janeane Garofalo, Will Ferrell and Harland Williams -- or live-gig greenhorn Tom Green -- get up on a tiny stage and jam? At Lorne Perlmutar's dream come true, the Rivoli's wild and wacky weekly ALT.COMedy Lounge." - NOW MAGAZINE

"As evidenced by Sean Cullen, and the frequent presence of scouts from The Comedy Network, Just For Laughs, the Aspen Comedy Arts Festival and Saturday Night Live, it's a room to discover real talent. Maybe the next Seinfeld." - TORONTO STAR

"In this city's ultra-competitive comedy scene, the Rivoli's Monday-night ALTdot COMedy Lounge is one of the most reliable. And unpredictable. No wonder folks like Janeane Garofalo, Will Ferrell and Tom Green have dropped by to check out talent and (perhaps) do a set. A-list names aside, though, the joy in going to the ALTdot has always been discovering new talent and seeing comics try out new material." - BEST OF TORONTO
