~ Help needed at Withcott Working Bee on 7-8th April ~
We will be holding a working bee at our new property at Withcott on the weekend of 7th and 8th April.
If you are up for spending a day in the peaceful surrounds of Withcott, please do RSVP and come and join in the fun!
The property is beautiful but does need some work before the horses arrive.
Some of the jobs that we need doing include:
- Fencing (don't worry, our fearless fencers will be there to give us instruction)
- Mowing - A LOT of mowing
- Whipper Snipping
- General rubbish clean up
- Repairing stables
- Repairing the mini's enclosure
- Organising feed shed
- High pressure washing
Did we mention mowing??
If you have any equipment available that you might be able to bring along too, that would be much appreciated. A couple more ride on lawn mowers would not go astray and also any gardening tools, power tools and anything else you might think is useful.
Don't forget to bring a water bottle, hat, sunscreen and suitable footwear.
We need the property at Withcott ready to receive horses beginning the week of 9th April but there is a lot of work still to be done so if you can lend an hour or two of your time, we will be very grateful.
Refreshments will be provided and you are welcome to stay for a "pot luck" BBQ on Saturday evening - BYO meat for the BBQ, salads and desserts to share!
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org (and click on the RSVP here on Facebook so we can give you updates).
Hope to see you there!
