The Zimmerman Wild West Days Karaoke Contest is sponsored by The Zimmerman American Legion Post 560.
Rules and Guidelines for Wild West Days
All Rules apply for Qualifying and Final Rounds

Eligibility of Contestants Zimmerman Wild West Days Karaoke Contest is Open to Amateur Singers 21 years of age or older.

Eligibility Rules for Wild West Days
Contestant MUST BE PRESENT AT SIGN IN. No phone calls, texts or friends signing in.
Up to 15 Singers a night will compete in each Qualifying Round. Contest Sign In starts at 6:30pm. Once 15 (fifteen) contestants are signed up, the registration will be closed. Winners will be announced by 10:45pm
Contest Rounds will begin at 8:30pm and may last approximately One and a half (1.5) Hours.
Be Prepared to sing 2 (TWO) Songs. One Fast song, One Slow song.
Personal Karaoke CD+Gs are NOT allowed. NO EXCEPTIONS! Graphics must be present. No over singing or masking of original music. MP3+Gs are allowed ONLY if you provide documentation of purchase from maker or store. (*Please label and protect your pen drives. Post 560 and MusicBox Entertainment are not responsible for loss of or damages to your pen drives) If you can get your pen drives to MBE BEFORE the competition, this will give us time to prepare them.
One restart is allowed. Song Restarts must take place within the first 30 seconds of the song.
Please be ready to sing when you are called. If you are not ready, you may be disqualified for that round.
Judging Criteria and Scoring
50 points from each of the judges is available for each performance (Including Elimination and Final Rounds) The point breakdown is as follows:
35 points for Vocal Ability – Pitch, Timing, Tone, Knowledge of Song and Control of Vocal Abilities
15 points for Stage Presence – Appearance, Costuming, Crowd Interaction and enthusiasm.
5 points for Audience Response – Crowd applause/silence before, during and after performance.
Judges are responsibility of the American Legion.
Scores are tallied by The American Legion.
MBE2K1 has NO Influence over judges and scoring.
