Enjoy Alloy Orchestra's live accompaniment to silent film shorts using an outrageous assemblage of peculiar objects, ranging from found percussion to state-of-the-art electronics. Their famous "rack of junk" allows them to create any sound imaginable as you view silent shorts from 1906–1927.

Sounds of Silents is a post-gala event benefiting AVAM's exhibitions and educational programs. AVAM's first floor of the Jim Rouse Visionary Center will be transformed into a special theater where Sounds of Silents ticket holders and AVAM's gala attendees will gather for a unique experience as the world-famous Alloy Orchestra performs live music to 10 short films from its "Wild & Weird" collection. Come early to enjoy music from Classic Collective DJs & DJ Carl Jr, and snacks, beer, and wine in AVAM's Sculpture Barn.
