If you're thinking about building cabinets, you'll want to start with this class! Over the course of two 3-hour sessions, students will learn the fundamentals of casework by building their own bookcases. In the classroom, the instructor will discuss design considerations and explain the different types of joinery used in casework. Then you'll head to the shop for some hands-on experience, so you can learn how to assemble casework and keep it square. To finish off your project, you'll learn cutting methods that will give you the perfect fit with moldings, every time. This class will give you everything you need to start designing and building your own cabinets and works great in combination with our Doors 101 and Drawers 101 classes.
NOTE: This is a Two Day class. The class is held the following day on Friday, May 25th.
