Feeling overwhelmed and chronically stressed is a recipe for poor health. However, stress is not going anywhere and can bring with it positive health benefits. the key is knowing how to reduce bad stress and keep your body and mind stress-resilient.
This workshop led by Ginny Colarusso, E-RYT 500 and Nutrition Consultant, Amy Rind, combines yoga, breathing, meditation, and nutrition practices that you can use to manage daily stress.
We will go over some yoga breathing techniques to help relax the mind and the body, as well as some guided meditations to instill a sense of calm. We will also complete a yoga sequence designed to keep stress at bay.
Giving your body the nutrition it needs is an essential step you can take everyday toward combating stress. You will also learn how to avoid emotional eating and the food triggers that can worsen stress. We will enjoy some light refreshments to bolster the stress reduction that will take place.
Amy Rind, NC is a holistic nutrition and wellness counselor focused on helping busy women reclaim their lives from the health burdens of stress, digestive, and hormone imbalances. She combines whole food nutrition with mindful living strategies to help women truly nourish their body, mind, and spirit. Amy is a certified nutrition consultant through Bauman College and a member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals.
