“A Different Kind of Medicine”, The Medicine Wheel, Wednesday, 7:30pm, Addison
Join us Wednesday April 11th at 7:30pm for "The Medicine Wheel”, our next Addison Pagan 101 class presented by Delfin.
Which medicine do you carry? We are each boon already carrying a particular wisdom, or “medicine”. Find out which one you carry. The Native American medicine wheel has 2 roads: the Good Red Road and the Dark Road. There are animals who carry medicine that help us along our paths. We will “walk” the medicine wheel, so to speak, and divine to find which animal’s medicine you might need in your life. You will learn how to build a medicine wheel and the many stones that make it up.
Delfin Pythia is a Wiccan High Priestess in the DFW area. Her focus in divination, Rune magic, and fertility magic began almost 20 years ago. She earned her High Priestess degree with American Tradition of the Goddess in 2008 and has had an active coven since 2013, known as Circle of Earth, Sea & Sky. During her journey, she spent several years as part of a local Seidh group focusing on Seidh magic, journeying and Oracle training; its background being Norse and Germanic. She has also served as a volunteer for the Texas Local Council of The Covenant of the Goddess, which offers local Pagan 101 classes. She is also a mother of four and grandmother of fifteen and still considers herself young at heart; and with all this, also considers herself always a student of life.
Pagan 101 classes are sponsored by the Texas Local Council Covenant of the Goddess. Visit www.TXCoG.org for details on classes, events and local covens. $5.00 facility fee per person, per class is requested (No pre-registration required.)
