Followed by dinner at a local pub for those who'd like to hang out longer!
Michael Laverty is the Director of SPARC – a cultural movement that seeks to mobilise a body of Christians who are Artists, Creatives and Innovators, to be an INTENTIONAL and TRANSFORMATIVE CULTURAL INFLUENCE.
Michael is also the Art for Literacy Director of Subtext, an Art for Literacy project that merges visual arts and the written word to provide a powerful means for young people of refugee background to express the complex, diverse aspects of their past, present and future.
Michael has worked the majority of his life in the marketing communications industry within financial, business management and leadership roles.
Michael is an excellent communicator, team builder and motivator. He has an extensive track record in next generational organisational leadership development and coaching. Michael is passionate about issues of justice, environment and addressing issues of poverty.
He is also the former international managing director of Tropfest, the world’s largest short film festival.
