Please join Anser Junior High for a FREE community-wide screening of the award-winning documentary Big Sonia. The film shares the story of Holocaust survivor Sonia Warshawski, a tiny lady with great courage. Interweaving memories of her past and present, Big Sonia explores the impact she's making today with students and prisoners, as she speaks out about her life in three Nazi camps from age 13 to age 19, as well as her present-day struggle when she loses the lease on the tailoring shop she's operated for decades. Sonia refuses to be forced out. She 'needs to work,' she says, so as not to dwell on her life's 'dark spot.' https://bigsonia.com/about/
