Yin and restorative yoga directly affect the flexibility of not only the mind but the fascia - the connective tissue that hold together and work in concert with all the muscles we so dearly love to work. Yin and restorative yoga poses are a complementary modality to all forms of physical fitness. Yin and restorative yoga activates our own body's ability for healing and regeneration, improved sleep quality, enhanced mood, and improved physical performance.
In our busy world, it's difficult to find time and really slow our minds down. Meditation can be an easy tool for anyone to use to help "put the brakes" on your mind. Additionally, meditation can help us create more focus on intention on our daily tasks

This class will focus on what meditation is, and how to bring your body and mind into a meditative state. You will walk away with an understanding of meditation, and easy tips and techniques you can use in your every day life to maintain more inner peace and serenity.
This class will cover the basic fundamentals of meditation, different ways to prepare the body and mind for meditation, and the class will conclude with three easy and relaxing meditation techniques.
No experience necessary and all are welcome.
