Sarra, a Libyan refugee, will be sharing some traditional recipes with us in this demonstration cooking class. Libyan food is a blend of Mediterranean and Italian and her recipes promise to be delicious. The menu includes:
-Shorba Libya: a tomato based lamb stew with chickpeas, spices, and mint
-Rice with Nuts & Raisins
-Kaak Malih: biscuit with sesame and fennel seeds
