Art Cafe is thrilled to host an open-to-all evening dedicated to mental health with the screening of the film PAPERFROGS directed by Nuhash Humayun in conjunction with Kaan Pete Roi Helpline.
This screening is part of a larger cycle of discussions called CONNECTIONS, which aims to bring the film and it's message to diverse audiences and start a dialogue about grief, joy and the endless possibilities of human connections.
Nuhash Humayun, writer & director of PAPERFROGS, and Yeshim Iqbal, founder of the Kaan Pete Roi helpline will open the floor for discussion after the screening.
The Art Cafe edition of CONNECTIONS will feature the debut of the original song from the film score by Rakat Zami, Ariza Ahmed and Rushmian Wadud.
Nuhash Humayun’s debut short film PAPERFROGS is a coming of age story about dispirited Rayhan
and hopeful Sarika as they tread the paper-thin line between stranger and family.
