The Art Loop season kicks off with a celebration of creativity and innovation from our institutional and student communities. Enjoy a blend of art and technology on display as young leaders share their vision of the future.
NEED A PLACE TO START? Come to the Toledo-Lucas County Main Public Library (325 N. Michigan St). Parking is available in the Library garage until 9:00 pm.
In celebration of 419 Day enjoy the 3rd annual Ode to the Zip code, a creative writing opportunity that invites participants to submit short poems inspired by their ZIP Code. Finalists will be reading their work in the McMaster Center from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Winners selected from both the youth (15 and under) and adult (16 and older) categories will be awarded cash prizes. Top poems will also be published in Toledo City Paper. Watch music happen as the University of Toledo Symphony Orchestra holds an open rehearsal with at twist...for a 45 minute block of time, the UT Symphony Orchestra invites anyone who wants to try their hand at directing to conduct the ensemble (with my coaching, of course). Also take part in special hands-on activities in the Children’s Library Creativity Lab and main hall.
