Constructive Conversations Workshop
Monday, April 2 – 11:00am to 4:00pm – Central Valley Electric Cooperative ($25 for Chamber Members, $40 for Non-Members)
Alex Epstein has tailored a workshop toward industry professionals and supporters to use the information we know in a constructive conversation. At the workshop we will learn ways to have better, more effective discussions about the benefits of oil & gas with those who do not support the industry or do not know what to believe about environmentalists’ messaging in mass media.
Dinner & Book Signing – Alex Epstein as keynote speaker
Tuesday, April 3 – 6:00pm – Artesia Country Club ($40 for Dinner - Cash Bar)
Join us for dinner and an opportunity to hear from industry leader Claire Chase of Mack Energy Corporation, who will give us a brief overview of the politics of oil & gas in New Mexico coming out of the last legislative session and leading into election season. She will be followed by keynote speaker Alex Epstein, who will discuss his book, The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels, the path he took to arrive at his conclusions. His presentation will be followed by a Q&A session and book signing.
