Free Demo: Alcohol Ink in Mixed Media with Shawn Hayden | Friday May 11, 2018 | 11AM to 1PM, at Santa Fe store | FREE
Shawn Hayden will demonstrate the use of Piñata Alcohol Inks on a variety of surfaces. Piñata Colors are highly saturated, fast-drying alcohol inks for any hard surface, including glass, metal, plastic, ceramic, stone, leather, polymer clay and more. She will show how to use these vibrant inks in abstract art, for use as backgrounds and how to paint with this wonderful medium. It’s a great opportunity to see this popular new medium.
Bio: For the last 30 years, I have taught a variety of art classes, including ceramics in adult education classes and graphic design at Deerfield Beach High School, bookbinding at lo-Cal art stores and various drawing and painting classes. I hold a BFA in Theater from FAU, which includes a concentration in set design and painting, costume design and prop creation. While searching for a way to apply these skills, I came across Zentangle® and never looked back. I was certified to teach Zentangle in October of 2011. Since then, I have done many demonstrations, workshops and have introduced Zentangle to many people in the area. Currently, I am teaching Zentangle workshops – both public and private – in the Santa Fe area!
