The senior students present their annual year end art exhibition running from April 5 to April 7, 2018 at the Artscape Youngplace.
Drawing inspiration from all areas of study and personal experiences, ‘That’s Enough!’ suggests an underlying social political consciousness. Much of the work deals with issues that begin as personal experiences but expand exponentially into broader political realities. ‘That’s Enough!’ amalgamates into a dynamic exhibition space which features works across a varying range of media.
“That’s Enough!” is a collaborative showcase of the University of Toronto Scarborough senior artists. In this exhibition, we are celebrating the work of the senior studio art classes taught by Yael Brotman and Alexander Irving. We take a look into the hard work that the students have put into the semester as they conclude the year with their final piece, which for most, may be their last piece as a UTSC student. The diversity of the pieces show how talented and dedicated the students at the University of Toronto Scarborough are, and represent just how accomplished each student has become in their years at UTSC.
We will be hosting a reception on Friday, April 6th from 7pm-9pm . We welcome one and all to come see the work of our aspiring artists as well as have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the artists who created the show.
Food and refreshments will be provided during the reception.
Admission is free and open to the public
Come out and support the artists of UTSC! This is definitely a show you won’t want to miss!
