Presented by Traenerhus Workshops on behalf of Artwaves

Needle felting is used to create sculptural objects. By pushing a barbed needle through the wool fibres, 3D shapes can be formed and fine detail can be added. It can also be used to create felted pictures by working the threads through fabric. During this workshop we will work with these fibres to create a 3D object of your choice such as an animal, flower or shell.

Carol Walker, owner of Crafts At Work - working with textiles and fabrics gives me great pleasure and sharing this with others is even better. Working with fibres is really relaxing and I just enjoy the process of the fibres knitting together and forming whatever takes my fancy when I sit down that day to work. I especially enjoy creating big and vibrant flowers and love people's reactions when they see my work.

Please come to the foyer area of The Spa fifteen minutes before the workshop start time to help the ArtWaves Team direct you where you need to be.
