Brush lettering is a craft that is a tribute to hand lettering and calligraphy. And brush pens are an important tool to mastering beautiful script and Japanese characters. At this month’s session of Kokusaika on Wednesday, April 4 at 4 PM in Gonzales, use brush pens to letter your own paper roll scroll. However, if crafting isn’t your thing, don’t worry. We’ll also have Wii U available if you’d prefer to just play.

Kokusaika is Japanese for “internationalization,” and that’s what this club is all about. If you’re interested in cosplay, anime, manga, gaming, etc., then this Japanese cultural club for teens is for you! This program is open to all teens ages 12-18. Cosplay is welcome. For more information about this program, call APL Gonzales at 647-3955.
