A relaxing and nurturing workshop to help build connection with nature using the Ashdown Forest and the story of bird migration as inspiration for movement. The session will be led by professional choreographer Virgina Farman. Open to all adults and young people over the age of 14 years.
The workshop will start from the Ashdown Forest Educational Centre and then travel into the Forest. Bring waterproof clothes, shoes you can dance in, water, and a snack as required.

Virginia Farman is a freelance choreographer and a senior lecturer in dance at the University of Chichester where she is currently undertaking a research-led Phd degree looking at notions of wildness (Abrams, 2011) within contemporary choreographic compositional practices for non theatre settings. Farman has been creating performances in non theatre settings for over 25 years and is also an accredited 5 Rhythms teacher.
