Ashiatsu Training Centre 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Imersion
The 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training 4 week Daytime Immersion follows the guidelines set out by the Yoga Alliance, ensuring the highest educational standards of quality, integrity and professionalism.

This Training is divided in 3 modules. Modules can be taking in sequence or a different times, to accomadate different schedules or to take the training at your own speed with breaks inbetween, modules will be repeating through out the year.

Times: Monday to Friday 11-2, Saturday 12-5, 4 weeks Intensive
Module 1: Yogic Path and Peaceful living (Philosophy, Lifestlye and Ethics - 30 hours as required by Yoga Alliance)- A transformational journey of self-discovery - (This module is open to anyone interested in yoga philoposhy and enriching their lives whether or not your are interested in becoming a yoga teacher and completing the full training)
Cost of individual Module 1 if not taking full teacher training: $400
If you decide at a later date to continue on with the Full Teacher Training this amount will be subtracted off your total tuition.
Module 2:: Technique Training and Practice - 100 hours, Teaching Methodology - 30 hours
How to properly move through Surya Namaskara A and B. Learn the different styles and schools of thought on how to properly move through sun salutations A and B. Discussion
will focus on linking movement with breath.
Asana, 5 categories of postures: standing postures, twists, forward bends, back bends, and inversions
In depth study and practice of Vinyasa style of teaching, Yin and Restorative.
Pranayama and meditation technique and practice.
Finding your own unique style and identify your area of strengths that will enhance your classes. Learn to teach with confidence.
Module 3: Anatomy and Physiology - 20hours, Practicum - 20 hours
Practice teaching in pairs and small groups.
Design and teach your own 75 minutes Vinyasa class
Design and teach your own 60 minute Yin/Restorative Yoga Class.
Practice hands-on assists/adjustments in pairs and group class.

Basic human anatomy, skeletal system, muscular system, respiratory system, digestive system and lymphatic system as they relate to yoga asanas.
Functional anatomy, how the body moves through asana practice.
The fundamentals of Bandhas, Chakras and energy systems of the body.
