Next Generation, Prayer Productions, & Kelle Greene Presents...

REGGAE AT THE SPRINGS! Featuring the Lambsbread, Arkaingelle, Zahira, Mista Chief, Rising Buffalo Tribe, and special guests TBA.

Wednesday, April 25 will be a coming together of uplifting spiritual music from around the world. The diverse line up will feature international reggae group from Hawaii The Lambsbread, as well as roots reggae lion from Guyana, Arkaingelle. With supporting sets from reggae-soul songstress Zahira, local favorite Native American artist Mista Chief, as well as Portland-based reggae band Rising Buffalo Tribe for a night of dancing and good vibes music.

Stopping in on the "World Needs Love" 2018 tour The Lambsbread from Hawaii will be headlining the show, bringing their high energy stage show to the Wellsprings. The Lambsbread has long been a foundational roots reggae group in the Hawaiian islands, comprised of a family of talented musicians and singers. Originally formed on the island of Kauai the Lambsbread has 5 albums released, the most recent titled "World Needs Love" debuted in the top 20 selling albums at iTunes. The album features a guest appearance from Grammy award winners Morgan Heritage and Jamaican superstar Sizzla as well as legendary bass player Chris Meredith (Stephen Marley, Ziggy Marley) and is a cry for freedom and justice for all people. The album has been getting a great response around the world and has been hitting the radio airwaves from Hawaii to Jamaica to the UK and Africa, and was voted one of the top 50 albums of 2017 by major reggae website Zona Reggae. Thier stage show is dynamic and keeps the crowd moving to the "sweet reggae music".

Also performing on the bill will be roots reggae singer from Guyana Arkaingelle. Bringing a heavy roots vibration and a mystical sound, Arkaingelle will be supporting the release of his new album "Tru Di Fyah". Arkaingelle's second album, released by the Zion High productions label has steadily climbed its way into the top 20 on popular website Reggae Vibes, and has been receiving positive feedback from the reggae community worldwide. With a universal message for the massive, Arkaingelle's songs are heartfelt with lyrics everyone can relate to "On my way Be Good, Do Good".

This full line-up also features rising reggae/pop singer from Portland Zahira. Zahira has been on the scene since 2009, and has released music with reggae greats such as Yami Bolo, and performed with Luciano. Her harmonies have also been heard with popular Oregon band Indubious. More recently Zahira has been stepping out backed by Portland favorites Rising Buffalo Tribe. Together they have been lighting up stages around the Portland area, performing with the original Wailers, Junior Reid, Prezident Brown, Chezidek and more. Zahira also has a brand new single and video released titled "Stand Strong" with an uplifting animated video gaining her international attention.

Southern Oregon hip-hop & reggae artist Mista Chief will also be performing on the bill. As a Native American born to a Rastafarian mother, Chief had his early struggles as a hip-hop youth rebelling against her ways. Eventually, his own adult growth & venture into fatherhood gave way to his positive roots, allowing him to apply humble vibes and infuse a mix of dancehall reggae, with positive hip hop and appreciation of Native American culture into his music. MistaChief Chanta walks proud through his journeys in life spreading music that people can vibe to and connect with; he likes to think of himself as a bridge between cultures, a voice of the people and a link between many worlds.

Rising Buffalo Tribe will be bringing their original roots reggae to the stage, and will also be backing a Mista Chief and Zahira for a night of love and unity at the Wellsprings.

This event will take place in the Casbah @ the Jackson Wellsprings located just at the edge of Ashland, off Hwy. 99.
