This introductory hands-on course will equip the beginner to accurately interpret drawings and specifications. Five different building types, a single family residence, multifamily dwelling, commercial building, branch bank and fast food restaurant are studied for all scopes of methods and materials.
The text includes a set of prints, review questions and a competency test for each project. Whether the student is just beginning to read prints or is refreshing existing skills, this course prepares them for accurate day- to -day use of construction documents.
Classes are held Tuesday and Thursday night from 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. beginning May 1, 2018. The last class will be held June 21, 2018.
Cost is $465 for ABC members and $650 for non-ABC members.
