Flags of Remembrance pays tribute to the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces and Veterans in a visually stunning display of patriotism. Every year at the opening ceremony, 128 full-size Canadian flags are erected along the riverfront, representing 128,000 Canadians killed and missing in action.
Windsor is the gateway to Canada and is proud that of all the places in Canada this is the only place that this can be seen from the United States.
Join Veterans Voices of Canada (Windsor) and the North Wall Riders Association in a remembrance of all the Canadians that have given all so we may enjoy the lives we know today.
Service will start promptly at 1400.
