Interested in hoop dance? This weekly beginners class covers all the fundamental movements of hooping, including on and off body tricks. Learn some magical moves to incorporate into your flow!
Each class will begin with a warm up and stretches. Feel free to drop in, or we have class packages available!
Here are some of the things we will be covering throughout the weeks:
On-body movements such as waist hooping, knee hooping, chest hooping, leg hooping, vortexes, moving with the hoop, etc.
We will also be covering off-body tricks including isolations, weaving, jump-throughs, folding, escalators, wedgies, body rolls, and hinges.
What do I wear? - Clothes you are comfortable moving in, preferrably tightfitting. Nothing that dangles, shorts are best for leg hooping. Hoops love bare skin, so whatever you're comfortable with.
- BRING WATER! Hydration is important.
- If you have hoops, bring them! I have hoops to for you to start with, but I have a hoopmaker I can refer you to when you're ready to get your own!

Unlimited Beginner Class Monthly Cost: $100 (that's 2 classes a week)

Kat Flows has been studying hoop dance actively for about a year. She was drawn to it after watching a hooper and loved how free it looked. After buying her first hoop, she never put it down. Kat loves to mix elements of various forms of dance and yoga into her hoop flow. She believes hooping is a wonderful form of meditation and wants to share her passion with others. Kat performs and teaches hooping workshops at festivals and events all around the Pacific Northwest.
