Event takes place in the classroom at the Randall Davey Audubon Center & Sanctuary, 1800 Upper Canyon Road in Santa Fe.

Join us for a relaxed nature journaling workshop, all skill levels invited. In this introduction to nature journaling, get ideas on how to start your own nature journal and then engage in various observations in nature and writing exercises led by Stella Reed. Stella is an Audubon New Mexico staff member and poet. Her poems have appeared in Taos Journal of International Poetry and Art, Bellingham Review and American Journal of Poetry. She was awarded a grant from NM Literary Arts for her project Ordinary Cloth, the Secret Language of Women. Stella has an MFA from New England College where she was awarded the Joel Oppenheimer scholarship.

Family friendly, but best for children 10+ .
Some basic art supplies will be available, but participants are encouraged to bring their own journal, and preferred art materials.
